Nav Raj Thapa

Managing Director

Mr. Nava Raj Thapa started his career in this tourism sector since 1993 from the ground level as a porter then guide cum porter, after completing his intermediate degree from Tribhuwan University and trained from Tourism Ministry of Nepal as a trekking guide, he became a trekking guide. Now he is as a Managing director of Accent Himalaya Trekking and Day Tours (P) Ltd and well known face of tourism industry in Nepal. Who has about 25 years experience in tourism of Nepal, he handle correspond mail, follow up the guest and their physical situation all the way to the high trekking route of Nepal or on the grass area, He deals and gives information for every clients with full of enthusiasm and commitment Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, visitors return back home with full of satisfaction. He is the most dedicated and responsibility towards the duty has been possible to boost up the company.

Binod Thapa

Founder / Managing Director

Binod Thapa, a business graduate who trod into the trekking industry of Nepal as a trekking guide in 2006. While being an authorized trekking guide from 2006 to 2012, he has successfully done Everest base camp trek, Annapurna base camp trek, and Upper Mustang trek several times. He is an adventurous personality never frightened by the challenges.

Mr. Thapa’s hard work, dedication, and vision have led him to expand the business by establishing a newer company named Accent Himalaya in 2017. After all these years in the business, his enthusiasm to keep on learning remains. He has traveled almost dozens of countries - India, China, Japan, Bhutan, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, United Kingdom and the USA. Currently, he is working as a Managing director of Accent Himalaya ,

Mr. Gyaltzen Sherpa

Climbing Guides

Mr. Gyaltzen Sherpa has a great passion and thoughtful experience of Nepal’s mountain expeditions. He has been leading toughest expeditions in Everest region for up to 7000m more than 10 years. He is a native resident of Solukhumbu (Everest region) and is very good at narrating which we believe is a good quality of a climbing guide. His qualifications in expeditions and climbing first aid ensures a safe and professionally managed expedition plus his enthusiasm and love for the mountains guarantees a trip of a lifetime. He is a truly inspirational climbing guide. He has a license from the ministry of tourism. He is also an active member of Nepal mountaineering association. He is able to communicate well in Nepali, Sherpa, Hindi, Tibetan, English and some basic French. Some of his experience on climbing expedition includes Mount Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Baruntse, Kyajo Ri, Pumori, Yala peak, Hiunchuli, Lobuche, etc.

Mr. Norbu Sherpa

Starting from a porter, then to assistant Sherpa guide and finally a climbing guide - Mr. Sherpa has been an enthusiastic climbing guide who joined team Accent Himalaya and has an experience of more than 12 years. He has lived and grown in the Everest region and has completed more than 35 expeditions always ensuring the safety of the group. He has very precise knowledge of the altitude, geography, routes and every other factor that influence your peak climbing. Fluent in English, Sherpa, Tibetan, and Nepali – he is an awesome gentleman and a licensed from the Ministry of Tourism. He is also an active member of Nepal Mountaineering Association and licensed from Ministry of Tourism of Nepal. Some of his experience on climbing expedition includes Mount Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Baruntse, Kyajo Ri Peak, Pumori, Yala peak, Hiunchuli, Lobuche, Island Peak, etc.

Mr. Dorje Sherpa

Also the native of Everest, Mr. Dorje Sherpa grew up in the foothills of Mt Everest, where he spent his creative years exploring the peaks and developing a passion for peak climbing. The past few years have seen him climbing in many peaks up to 7000 m. A professional climbing guide with first aid qualification and a love for his profession, Mr. Sherpa is a great asset of team Accent Himalaya. He also has a license from the Ministry of tourism in his possession. Also an active member of Nepal mountaineering association, he speaks various languages such English, Chinese, Tibetan, Sherpa, and Nepali and has an experience of 9 years.

Mr. RamKishor Sharma

Tour Guide

Mr. Sharma has been organizing city tour of Pokhara, Chitwan, Kathmandu and other major cities for more than a decade. He has a deep love of heritage sites of Kathmandu and passionate about sharing stories about their rich cultural histories, art, and architecture. Having a master’s degree in Travel and Tourism and proficient in English, Japanese and Nepali languages – sharing abundant knowledge about the site gives him a big smile. The legends associated with these sites – he expresses it in a dramatized way which is his really appreciated skill. With a good sense of humor and very friendly nature, he tries best to make your tour very memorable.

He also possesses a license from Ministry of Tourism.

Mr. Dechen

Mr. Dechen has now been part of team Accent Himalaya who has experience organizing tours of Bhutan for 8 years. Having lead more than 100s of tours – he reads your mind and answers your question before you ask! Being proficient in Bhutanese, Hindi, Nepali and English languages, he is a firm believer in learning through experience and works very hard to gain and share knowledge based information. His only passion is to create a memorable experience for the enthusiast traveler. He has a bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism and also a license from Ministry of Tourism.

Mr. Nima

With a Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism and fluent in English, Chinese, Tibetan, Hindi & Nepali, Mr. Nima is one the charismatic team leader of Accent Himalaya. He has been a valuable member of our team and is an inspiring personality. Previously working as a driver, he always had the passion for traveling and touring in Tibetan plateau and the Himalayas of Nepal. He is always focused on customer services and that is all that matters the most to him. A native citizen of Tibet – He on your trip delivers what is required to make a lifetime experience.

He is also licensed from the Ministry of Tourism.

Mr. Arujn Timilsina

Trekking Guide

Mr. Timilsina has an experience of 5+ years for organizing trekking in the Himalayan region(name). He started as a porter and his dedication and hard work promoted him today as a trekking leader. He can communicate in English, Nepali and Hindi. He is very skilled at handling emergency situations and also is well trained in First-Aid and altitude sickness. He is very passionate about traveling and sharing information.

Mr. Bishnu Thapa

Thapa was born in Dhading. After graduating from college, he pursued his career in travel and tourism industry (blooming here in Nepal) as of its natural beauty. Also working from the root level as a porter, assistant guide and finally a trekking guide, he a come a long way since then. He has certifications in first aid and mountain altitude sickness training. He loves to entertain his guest by providing the best service and is only satisfied then. Having organizing more than 100’s of trekking tours - he is one of the valuable team members of Accent Himalaya. He is a certified from the Ministry of tourism and is able to speak in Nepali, English, Hindi and basic Japanese.

Mr. Rupak Bhandari

Mr. Bhandari has admired the beauty of Nepal since his childhood as his parents worked in Health Sector that required them to move to various parts of the country. Apart from college degree on Hotel management, his certification in first aid and attitude sickness training come very handy in case of emergency situation. He is well known to the topography as well as the geography of major locations. He has been in this profession of travel and tourism since last 10 years. Very punctual and always smiling, he makes your trekking and touring an experience of a lifetime. He has abundant knowledge of culture, places, and people and is very informative.

Mr. Rajkumar Dhakal

Born and raised in Gorkha, Mr. Dhakal opt a career in travel industry because of his love for stunning landscape and the glorious Himalayas. He can communicate very well in English, Hindi, and Nepali. An Annapurna Base Camp and Ghorepani Poon Hill Trail specialist with a beautiful nature, extraordinary knowledge and leadership skills, Mr. Dhakal always delivers an exceptional trekking experience. He also has added the basic altitude sickness and first aid training to his qualification.
